Start Your day Right Graphic

Things changed at the start of this year.  Start times this year are different than last year.  I wanted to  make sure we are on the same page with this change.

Timely arrival is important and helps your child start their day off right.

Madison Park doors open at 8:00.

School starts at 8:15

Breakfast is also served until 8:15 at the door, so it is important to arrive on time!

Occasional late arrivals are understandable as we now mornings can be busy.

Continuous late arrivals do result in reporting to the Regional Office Attendance Officers who will then contact you.

Having trouble getting out the door on time?  Here are a few routines that might help.

1) Set an alarm 1 hour before you leave for the day, not just for you but also for your kiddo.

2) Set a morning routine.  Get up, get dressed, brush teeth, have breakfast, etc.

3) Keep that same routine every weekday morning

4) Have clothes for the next day laid out and ready to go in set place

5) Have bookbag packed as your child goes to bed. Have the bag setting by the door so it is ready to leave.

Mornings can be tough and we are hopeful that a few of these items help make it a little easier.

We appreciate your help starting the day off right!
