Litchfield Reads Literacy Night
The district hosted Litchfield Reads on Thursday evening at the Unit Office. Teachers from each grade level (PreK-5) were on hand to offer parents simple reading activities they could do at home to help build literacy skills. The LHS Cheerleaders lead the arts and craft table, read stories to kids, and handed out pizza, and Mr. Favre and Mr. Heigert answered questions about utilizing the iReady program at home. A special shout out goes to the ladies at Casey's on Union! They cooked up 53 pizzas for the evening and finished right on time!
