LHS SUMMER SCHOOL - Summer school invitations be sent to any student who fails or has failed a core course. Invites will be mailed and emailed to students and parents after grades are posted on May 28th/29th. If you get an invitation to summer school, it will meet June 2nd-27th from 8am to noon each day. Students will be required to pay $150 for each course/credit. Payment will be due on May 30th at 8am in the LHS office.

Due to the incoming severe weather that is forecasted for this evening, tonight's cheerleading tryouts have been rescheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 3/15 at Simmons Gym. Doors will open at 4:30 and tryouts will take place at 5:00.

Reminder Friday 3-14-25 is an early dismissal day. LECC & LES dismiss @ 12:00. LMS & LHS dismiss @ 12:15. There is no afternoon Pre K. School resumes Monday at the normal time.

PURPLE PANTHER FANS: Congratulations to senior boys basketball players Nate Schaake and Brayden Ronco for being named to the 2024-25 South Central Conference All-Conference team! Nate made the 2nd team, and Brayden was named to the 3rd team. We are proud of both of you! GO PANTHERS!!

Purple Panther Nation: This Wednesday, February 5th will be our rescheduled varsity girls and boys basketball games with Mt. Olive. Girls will get the action started at 6 PM. Between games, we will be recognizing our Litchfield/Mt. Olive baseball team for their regional and sectional championships from 2024. We look forward to seeing everyone at Simmons Gym on Wednesday. Purple Panther Nation, much to the smiles of students across the district....we are OFFICIALLY taking an E Learning day due to the forecast of snow during the morning hours that may impact the afternoon commute on top of our current conditions. While this is a hard call to make with snow just starting in the area, there are varied reports of accumulation of 1 to 4 inches. The current road conditions are still spotty and we are unsure of the impact of the potential snow. We will error on the side of caution. I hope everyone stays safe and warm (while maybe playing in the snow some, too!). Have a great day.
